⚠Replacing an e-bike battery carries real risk. A mismatched or poor-quality lithium pack can fail, overheat, or cause a fire. Read this before buying.
Before you buy, confirm four things on your own pack
- Voltage matches exactly (e.g. 48V to a 48V bike).
- Case length matches — measure it; short and long Dorado cases are not interchangeable.
- Discharge connector type and pin count match.
- BMS type — if your original is a smart BMS, you need an OEM-compatible pack.
Buying & charging
- Buy from reputable sellers with reviews and a warranty; favor known cell brands.
- Use the correct charger for the pack's voltage; don't leave charging unattended or overnight.
- Stop using any pack that swells, smells, or gets unusually hot, and follow local rules for lithium disposal.
