VoltMatch exists because the "compatible with" lists on replacement-battery listings are frequently wrong — and on a lithium pack, wrong is dangerous. Here is exactly how every fit on this site is established.
No fitment is published on the strength of one seller listing. A claim must be corroborated across at least two independent sources — ideally a manufacturer specification plus an owner report or teardown.
Fit is determined by voltage, case length and discharge pinout — and gated by BMS type. We list all of these, and we flag the ones that depend on your specific unit and must be measured or checked.
"Verified" means multiple sources agree. "Confirm on your pack" means a determinant (usually length or BMS type) can only be settled by your physical unit. We never present an assumption as a fact.
Every model page lists what not to use — wrong voltage, wrong length, smart-BMS incompatibility — as prominently as what fits.
Pages carry a last-verified date. If you own one of these bikes and can confirm a length or pinout, your correction is reviewed and merged.
