The Reention Dorado is the most common downtube battery case on US-market e-bikes — which is exactly why so many discontinued bikes can still be revived with an aftermarket pack. But "Dorado" is a family, not a single part. Getting a replacement right comes down to four things:
The four things to check on a Reention Dorado pack — start by measuring the length.
The four things that decide fit
Voltage — almost all Dorado-equipped bikes here are 48V. Never fit a 36V pack to a 48V bike.
Case length — Dorado ships in short (~390–440 mm) and long (~458–505 mm) lengths. A different length will not seat in your cradle. Measure your original.
Discharge connector — 2-pin, 5-pin and 6-pin plugs exist; same-looking, different wiring.
BMS type — some bikes use a smart BMS that rejects a standard replacement pack. This is the gate sellers leave out.
